Technical translations
Has it ever happened to you? It’s Friday, a profitable and busy week is drawing to a close, and suddenly a member of staff realizes that technical translations (of operating instructions, assembly instructions, directions for use, a manual or a call for tender...) absolutely have to be ready by Monday for a business trip abroad: the texts must be translated, and no gibberish please!
At our agency, we understand that this does happen and we are prepared to meet the challenge. Of course, it would be nice if it did not happen, or at least not very often, ideally very rarely, or at least not into Japanese... But even in that situation, you, as the customer, are our king.
Your technical texts are in good hands with us.
Our technical translators know what they are translating. They are familiar with the terminology involved and use special translation tools (terminology management systems), good old-fashioned dictionaries and databases. As a rule, our specialised translators are native speakers of the target language with several years of professional translation experience and hold a university degree.
We take particular care to select the technical translators with the right knowledge base, e.g. a course of study in a technical field appropriate to your translations. And if more assignments follow the first, as a rule, the same person will produce those new translations in the same high level of quality.
In addition, both we, at our translation agency, and the specialised translator create glossaries to ensure consistent use of terms specific to your company, particular spellings and reflect any special requests you may make, keeping them up-to-date and accurate. That allows us to ensure a consistent and high level of quality in both revised documents and new texts.
