The picture
In a globalised world, the contribution made by interpreters and translators is a fundamental one. They build bridges of understanding and establish the basis for joint actions – our “language bridges”.
The picture portrays 16 real bridges, 15 of which span rivers which are also the borders between nations.
The 16th bridge is a bridge in Berlin near the Head Office of GlobalSprachTeam in the German capital.
Blue is the colour of communication, the most important component of our occupation. The requirement for mutual understanding forms the very core of the work we do. This is symbolically represented by the word “understand” and its 25 translations.
